Among other frlitites of manking one is his heart.... heart that possesses a cascade of wavelike emotions. These emotions find their outlet invariably in arguments, which combined with ones own logic, become figid and govem the life. . Raj and Gopal were two friends. Inseparable as they were in other spheres of life they got married the same day. They loved their spouses but as fate would have it, the two wives responded differently Varsha, Rajs wife, ws a lady doctor, she believed that by virtue of her being a doctor, she was the custiodian of the family health and was entitled to put on the trousers in the house while Gopi the wife of Goal was a mans woman, a wife in the true Indian sense. Varsha was a routine girl who insisted on clock like precision in the mode of her life. Varsha was a stickler as far as her own notions were concerned. She would put her foot down and forget the sweet principle of give and take that makes the married life worth living. Raj felt cold water poured on all of his happy dreams of a harmonious home. Her notions were good she meant well by them, but Raj getting over-ruled every day started to feel atrace of hypocratic dogma about them. The result was that they decided to be kings for a day and reign alternately in their kingdom which was their home. . Gopi and Gopal were a happy family but they were not immune to the happenings at their neighbours home. Gopi began to crave for power. She wished she could rule in her home even for a day. Raj wished he could live as happy as Gopal and Gopi but if wishes were horses beggars would ride. . Rajs sister Rekha was to be married, Raj promised his father to have a lavish show enen if he had to spend all his earnings. The day was approaching and the money started flowing like water. Varsha objected to this show this and the ensuing argument separated the husband and wife. Varsha went away telling that she wuld not be a party to this collossal waste. She however signed the cheque on their joint account for Raj before she left the house to put end to further arguments. Strange are the ways of fate. Raj did not find the cheque and misunderstanding her intentions, was through with her for ever. He was in a fix to pay the creditors who wanted to have a slanderous laugh at the money and saved the situation. The bond of their friendship was sealed and so was the fate of poor Varsha. . The house, that was a love nest was torn to shreds by violent emotions Mother and son had to feel the pangs of separation. A chasm appeared between the husband and the wife. The house lost all its charm and gaiety. It was no more a sweet home. In its toomblike silence it stood sans merriment, sans song, sans happiness and may be sans end. Could there be a soution to this deadlock? . The silver screen unfolds it with a thught provoking impact.
