Suri (Dasari Narayana Rao) is a watchman who along with his wife Maha Lakshmi (Sujatha) endures huge sacrifices to put their only son G.V. Sathyanarayana (Suresh) through college. G.V pretends to be a son of rich man and feels ashamed of his parents bashful background. G.V falls in love with Asha (Yamuna) who comes from a wealthy family. Soori is outraged when he finds out his sons dishonest game but Asha wants her in laws love and affections so she invites them to stay in her mansion, there too G.V ignores them and refuses to accept them as his parents. Maha Lakshmi falls ill and Soori is in need of money for his wifes operation, but G.V doesnt help them. Furious Soori sends a court summons to his son to pay his debt.
