Shankar (Kishore Kumar) is in the army. On his return he finds out that he has lost his wife and father in a fire. His child, Ramu, has stopped talking. Shankar sets off to city to get Ramu treated. Instead, he ends up in Meena's (Supriya Choudhury) house after a quarrel with Thakur leaves him wounded on the road. Meena begins to have feelings toward Shankar and Ramu. Thakur, on the other hand, has plans to get Meera married to his son. The only things in the way of his plans are now Shankar and his son Ramu. |
