Chander (Mithun Chakravarty) is son of Satish who gets killed while saving Prime Minister Mrs. Indra Gandhi from 3 noted international criminals, Marcelloni (Amrish Puri), Ninja (Danny) and Mirza ( Shakti Kapoor). His mother (Sarla Yeolekar) becomes mad. Chandu promises to take revenge and also fulfill his father's dream by becoming a Commando. His Commander Mirza also supplies arms to Marcelloni. He saves Asha (Mandakini), daughter of owner of Arms Depot, Kailashpuri Malhotra (Om Shiv Puri) and they fall in love. He also befriends Dilher Singh, another commando (Hemant Birje). They decide to reveal the truth and expose these international terrorists with the help of I.G. (Shashi Kapoor) who introduces them to Jhum Jhum (Kimi Katkar) who is a CBI agent. They all together fight with terrorists. However, all their plans fail one after other as the two commandos kill them. During this period, Chandu also takes his revenge. One such avenging act brings back his mother's memory too and they all live happily ever after.
