This is the story of two close friends. Ram (Sunny Deol) & Avtaar(Anil Kapoor). Ram was a son of very rich man but Avtaar lived a poor life. As they grew up their friendship became ever more stronger. With some filmy incident, Ram met Sangeeta (Sridevi) who is also the girl from a very rich family. They met again & again & fell in love with each other. Avtaar was working under Sangeeta's company & he also fell in love with her. Ram gets to know all this & decided to sacrifice his love for the sake of his friendship. He convinced Sangeeta that he is very flirtatious kind of person & is having multiple affairs with girls. On the other side, Avtaar was worried about his poor backround in front Sangeeta. So Ram decided to sacrifice his all money to Avtaar in the name of friendship without letting him know, that he gave him. Finally Avtaar & Sangeeta got married. Gundappa Swami (Shakti Kapoor) was a rival businessman of Sangeeta & was after a land which she was not willing to sell to him. Gundappa decided to blackmail Sangeeta & tell Avtaar everything about her previous affair with Ram. Sangeeta sells the property to Gundappa but in a fight he got killed. Before he was died, he told Avtaar that before their marriage, Sangeeta was having an affair with one boy & still loves him. Avtaar asks this to Sangeeta but she doesn't give any answers. Will Ram answer this question? What will happen to their friendship then? A good emotional story full of sacrifices enacted by Sunny, Anil & Sridevi.
