Arun Singh (Vinod Khanna) was an uncorrupted Police Officer but a very strict, blunt and short tempered officer. He was getting transferred from one branch to another because of its nature. He was trapped in a murder case of an innocent prisoner, which was totally a political murder done by Yashpalji (Om Shiv Puri). He was tried with this case was after a very known criminal Chaman Bagha (Shakti Kapoor) who was again working for Yashpal. Arjun was trying his best to catch him to was trying to know the deep secret behind this to for whom Chamman Bagha is really working for . As he was investigating the case he was facing many problems. He got to know that all are corrupted in this field including Police Commissioner Prithvi Singh (Subbiraj) . But he didn't accept losing the battle . He continues to fight with the system, staying within the system. Finally he got a file from their legal advisor Amar Kaul (Anupam Kher) who was also corrupted. Arjun obtained that file by his sharp skills. He gave ths file to Police Commissioner Prithvi Singh for further investigation. In this file all the dark deeds were written with proof gathered by Yashpal. Will Arjun succeed in his mission? Will he able to fight with the sysytem that to working within system?
