Chandrasekher (Raj Babbar) works in seth Kailashnath (Anupam Kher's) mill and is the union leader. Kailash, his brother Mahendranath (Rupesh Kumar) and son Hari (Tej Sapru) are not happy with Shekher's fight for the employees. With the help of Sanyasi Raja (Shafi Inamdar), another employee, they kill Shekher. Kailash disagrees to let his daughter Renu ( Richa Sharma) marry Chaurangilal Dumkhia's (Kader Khan) brother Vikram (Gulshan Grover). An angry Chaurangi decides to take revenge. He informs about Shekhers murder to his widow, Jhansi (Rekha). Jhansi is an inspector and she arrests Sanyasi Raja to find the truth. Jhansi's advocate brother Ravi (Anil Kapoor) who is also in love with Renu helps her in her search for the criminals. Fooling Kailashnath, Ravi & Renu marry each other. But then all the criminals join hands to fight Ravi & Jhansi. They create such a situation that Jhansi is framed as an inspector who uses the system for her personal reasons. The Commissioner (Parikshat Sahani) fires jhansi and she resigns. Will Jhansi get justice? Will Kailshnath and his gang get punished?
