The story revolves around the Village person Prasad who relocates to Bombay with his son Bhargav and a daughter Deepa. Both are growing up with an ultra-modern culture. Bhargav has a Sister-in-law, Geetha back in their village and his father wants both of them to get married. But he is shocks to find that Bhargav has fall in with another girl Seema. So Prasad poses as a rich old man and he asks him to marry Seema. The money-minded Seema also agrees the old man proposal. Finally the frustrated Bhargav realizes his mistake and later he agress to marry Geetha.
