This is a hilarious tale of mistaken identities and comic errors. The story centres around two couples, namely Sujatha and Mohan and Gopal Rao and his wife Janaki. Sujatha (Jayasudha) is desperately seeking a job. She gets work in Mohans (Chandra Mohan) electronic shop. But he has mistaken Sujatha to be the daughter of Gopal Rao. Sujatha plays along since she needs to support her family. They fall in love with each other. But the lie causes misunderstandings between Gopal Rao and Janaki. When the truth comes out in the open, does Mohan change his mind about Sujatha?
