| The story is about a middle class family where husband is satisfied with what he is getting and the wife wants to live high, deservers comforts and dreams of luxuries. Satya Murthy (Abbas) and his wife Swarajyam (Tabu) and their greediness. He is a Crime Reporter in a News Paper and is corrupted and desires to earn as much as possible from back doors. His colleague Neeladri (Sunil) is also corrupted. Their wives also wish their husbands to earn big through corruption and robbery if possible. One day, a train accident happens in the city and Murthy and his colleague cum photographer Neeladri reach to the cover the story. Instead of doing their job, they loot the gold ornaments and the other belongings of the dead passengers in the accident. They reach home with a bag of ornaments and a briefcase. Later it is unveiled that a suitcase consisting of precious diamonds worth Rs 500 Crore rupees is missing from one passenger in the train.And the diamonds belong to Prime Minister of India who hails from Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, Swarajyam sees the diamonds in the suitcase and keeps secretly in bathroom without informing her hubby. The police are now on the hunt for the diamonds. The rest of the film is how police, thieves, lawyers, and politicians are after that suitcase and ofcourse the precious diamonds and who got the diamonds shows the climax part. |
