Meghna Timghure (Mausmi Makhija) is raised in a middle class family by Mr. Timghire (Dilip Prabhalkar) and mother Laxmi (Reema Lagoo). Her father works as an income tax officer, who also has an eye on Almira (Rati Agnihorti) who moves like a sexy auntie, and promises to make Meghna a big model. And, then there is Om Puri who plays the role of a Don. Om Puri too chases Meghna's father for different reasons. Her dream is to become a model and to live a life of luxury. One day, she has an accidental encounter with Mr. Varun Arya (Zulfi Sayed) who is a businessman in a club. Meghna changes her name to Sarika to appear more upper class. She is offered to be a contestant in Miss India beauty contest and then she is able to get into the main stage of the contest. After some time, she is a leading and a strong contender to win the Miss India pageant . But due to various circumstances and turn of events, will she win or lose Miss India beauty contest? Om Puri provides the comic relief in the movie.
