The film follows the life of Shirdi Sai Baba (Sudhir Salvi) right from the time when he was 16 to the times when he had his followers from all over the nation. When Sai Baba was 16 years old, He came to Shirdi and stayed there for 3 years. After an year, He returned to Shirdi with a marriage party. After a while, he started living in a very lonely and deserted Mosque. When he moves to Rahata which is 5 kms away from Shirdi, He brings with himself 3 plants of Marigold. He waters them daily, nurtures them until he sees a whole flower garden at the same place. Neither did he marry all through his life, nor did he have any relatives. All he had was millions of followers who followed each and every word spoken by him. Shirdi Sai Baba considered everyone as his child, whom he thought is his responsibility to take care of.
