An outstandiong comedy by Govinda and Rani Mukherjee, Hadh Kardi Apne begins when Sanjay Khanna [Nirmal Pandey] a business man, and his wife Anjali always mess with each other.They finally decide to divorce each other. Sanjay's lawyer, Jim Carrie, [johny leaver] proposes that anjali is a lying and cheating wife. The same accusations are made by Anjali's lawyer too. But when the judge asks both to get evidence, Sanjay hits upon the idea of sending his friend Raj Malhotra (Govinda) on a Europe tour, so that he can claim that Anjali had cheated on him to go to Europe. Anjali too hatches the same plan and sends her friend Rani Mukherje, who's name is also Anjali Khanna, to do the same. While in Europe, Raj misplaces Anjali's photographs and mistakes Rani to be Sanjay's cheating wife. They often run into one another and keep working up disputes. It is only when Raj reaches Delhi does he realise that this Anjali is Not Sanjay's wife. He moves into her place, and when her parents raise hell, the two lovers get married.
